Primorye Territory
An exhibition devoted to St. Valentine's Day will be opened in the city.
According to the press service of the Administration of Primorye Territory, on 12 February at 16:00 in the Primorye public Picture Gallery an exhibition "Fascinating images of love and beauty" dedicated to St. Valentine's Day will be opened. The events will pass within the Year of youth in Russia.
The exhibition consists of two parts. First consists of more than twenty original works of old and contemporary Russian and West European artists, among them Karl Brullov, Pyotr Basin, Sergei Sudeikin, Vladimir Lebedev, Yuri Pimenov. The second part displays ten facsimiles of the widely-known collection of Nadia Léger. These are Auguste Renoir, Paul Gauguin, Francisco Goya, Amedeo Modigliani, Jean-Baptiste Greuze and others.
During the exhibition a slide film of 250 reproductions of paintings of West European countries from the Renaissance to the XX century will also be presented to the audience.
