The applications on participation in the “Leaders of Tourist industry of Primorye 2008” contest are being accepted.

Special attention during the contest works examination will be given to the family tourism due to the Year of the Family conducted in Russian Federation in 2008 and the reflection of the APEC summit theme, informed in the press-service of Primorye Territory Administration.

At the meeting of the working group on the preparation to the contest was decided to establish a special award “For the contribution to the promotion of tourist resources of Primorye Territory". The participation of the tourism enterprises in the exhibition activities will be taken into account during the winner’s selection.

Tourist Industry Leaders will be selected on the following nominations: "Best tour aruond Primorye Territory" - educational, health, sports, "Best Tour" - urban and suburban; "Best in tourism for the children" - children's tourist route, baby tourist event, children's tourist - health facilities; "The best advertising and information project" - a booklet of tourist-information publication, video, Internet site, "Best project for the development of tourism infrastructure in the Primorye Territory" - investment or implemented in 2007; "Best publication, reports on tourism. " In addition a nomination “Best Family Tour” was announced due to the Year of Family in Russia.
