The first international film summit “Eurasia” will be held in Vladivostok The large-scale event will be held during the festival "Pacific Meridian"

The first international film summit “Eurasia” will take place from 14 to 17 of September within the limits of the film festival. This is the most ambitious event, the international communication platform for the representatives of any field of film industry. Its organizers are such companies as "Soyuzkinorynok" which holds film markets in Moscow and Sochi four times a year, "Informkino", "FOF Company" and "Vyuzhn Consult”.

Alexei Sohnev, the director general of the “Vyuzhn Consult”, co-organizer of the Film Summit “Eurasia”: the summit will be the first event of such format in Russia, conducted simultaneously with a significant international festival attracting audience from the countries of Asia-Pacific region. We firmly know that members of the Film Summit will open a new horizon for the development of its activities and cooperation with Asian countries, Australia, the United States and other nations located in relation to Vladivostok much closer than European cities to the “center" of Russia.

Three special events will be held during the Film Summit “Eurasia”. The first of these is the Russian co-production Forum (Russian Co-production & Film Financing Forum), organized jointly with the company “Vyuzhn Consult”. The Forum will focus on developing of interaction of Russian, European and Asian investors, producers, distributors and representatives of public funds, funding the movies.

The opening of the initiative “Co-production in action" will be also held. In the partnership with the administration of Primorye Territory and "Pacific Meridian" will be held the presentation of "The Far East: a new pole of attraction for film industry" which shows the potential of Primorye and the Far East to attract foreign movie groups and film industry development prospects in the region.

Another special event will be the program "Generation campus" organized jointly with the company Informkino. "Generation campus" is an international creative educational center for young filmmakers, the main purpose of which is to help to create debut co-production projects.
