Most of the fishery objects are sold outsides the border of Russian Federation.
For the six months of this year the exports of fish and seafood caught by fishing vessels of the region in the World ocean and exported to foreign states without calling in the Russian ports (outside the customs border), amounted to 270.9 million U.S. dollars. The rate has grown by 41.4 per cent compared with the corresponding period of last year.
Fish and seafood were exported to seven countries abroad. The largest value amounts of exports relate to the Republic of Korea - 87.4 million U.S. (32.3 percent), China - 66.9 (24.7 percent), Japan - 52.2 (19.3 percent) and Germany - 34 million U.S. (12.6 percent).
