The citizens will see a dance performance “Fuji-musume”.

The troupe of Manjiro Ichimura of the Japanese theatre Kabuki arrived to Vladivostok, informed in the press-service of Primorye Territory administration. The actors have prepared performances for residents and guests of the region.

The organizers of the event are the executive committee on the organization of art studios of the Kabuki theatre for the foreigners with assistance of the administration of Primorye Territory, Gorky Regional academic drama theatre of Primorye a òâ also with the support of Consulate general of Japan.

According to the department of culture of the region the program is the program of the troupe will take two days. The residents of Primorye will acquaint with the process of actor’s make-up (onna-gata), dance performance “Fuji-Musume”, and to learn the history of the Kabuki theatre.

The Kabuki theatre is known in the world as the integral part of Japan culture. The art of Kabuki exists for 400 years. The spectator can form an idea of the culture and ancient traditions of Japan by attending the performance of Kabuki theatre.
