December 9-11, a Fest of the modern French cinema will take place in Vladivostok. The Embassy of France in Russia with the support of the Administration of Primorsky Krai is organizing this event.

“French cinema was always a synonym of a good classic film, many glorious pages in the history of world cinematograph were written by the French masters. I am glad that Primorsky audience have an opportunity to acquaint with works of modern French producers and get even closer to the contemporary European culture”, - points the governor of the region Sergey Darkin.
The program of the event has 6 films. Some of them were already shown on the prestigious international festivals.
The Fest is annually conducted in different cities of Russia. Vladivostok and Khabarovsk were chosen to conduct it this year. Vladivostok has already received the Festival 3 years ago. Then the guests of our city have noticed the interest of the residents of Primorye to the French cinema.
The holiday for the cinema-goers will be held at the cinema complexes “Ocean” and “Ussury”.
