This governor said at a meeting with heads of municipalities of Primorye.

The governor noted that "The heads of many cities, districts, settlements of Primorye have a responsible approach to this work, put everything in order, attract settlement and business leaders, and residents, use all available mechanisms - Sergei Darkin said. - However, there are territories where improvement is not going."

The Governor stressed that 30 indicators of the efficiency of the of the local authorities’ work are determined under the decree of the Russian President. Currently, the parameters of these indicators are being determined in the administration of Primorye Territory. Sergei Darkin entrusted to develop such criteria and at the local level, emphasizing that authorities are responsible for providing of comfortable living conditions for people in the first turn.

Another important issue which was raised at the meeting is the organization of summer school athletics campaign. In accordance with federal law on the delimitation of powers the organization of summer recreation and employment of students are within the competence of local authorities.

Last year over 325 million rubles have been allocated from all sources of financing for the junior athletics campaign of residents of Primorye. The share of local budgets amounted to almost 26 million rubles.

Another challenge that Governor Sergei Darkin put to the heads of municipal administrations is the promotion of the employment of schoolchildren during the holidays, to resolve the issue with financial support from the local budget.

Sergei Darkin emphasized that the issue is relevant to employment of the adolescents in the light of the fight against delinquency among youth.
