Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao discussed their upcoming meetings at the next forums of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation organisation (APEC).
The leaders of the countries discussed an upcoming SCO summit due in Dushanbe in August 2008, Russian presidential aide Sergei Prikhodko said on Wednesday. “We hope that a joint action plan for 2009-2012 will have been drafted for a SCO summit in Dushanbe,” Prikhodko said. Meanwhile, the leaders agreed on a meeting at an APEC summit due in Peru in late November, the presidential aide said.
