More than 450 residents of Primorye received appointment cards on the complex operations since the beginning of the year.

The funds for the costly treatment of the residents of Primorye were allocated from the federal budget within the limits of the national project “Health”. The complex operations were conducted by the highly-qualified specialists of the regional Hospital ¹1.

It is important that residents of Primorye are now able to receive high-quality medical care in their region. This greatly shortens the time of waiting and simplifies travel to the place of treatment. Thanks to the national project the additional federal funds were allocated for the purchase of expensive consumables and for the payment çà the clinic’s staff.

In upcoming years the base for the rendering of the high-tech medical care in Primorye will be expanded. At present the federal center of traumotology, orthopaedy and endoprothesis is being constructed. About 2000 operations a year will be conducted there after the entering of it in exploitation. In further this amount is planned to be increased till 5000. Assistance will be provided not onlt to the residents of the region but throughout the Far East.

It is planned to form the medical staff of the clinic from the specialists of Primorye. For this aim about 600 medical workers will be taught in the world’s leading hospitals.

The governor Sergei Darkin notes: “We must do everything to provide residents of Primorye with high-tech treatment in time. Life and health of people are our main priorities”.
