It is planned to invest some $90 million into the modernization of peers and the purchase of additional loading equipment. At the same time the new direction of activity doe not mean the termination of previous activities, namely the processing of fish and sea products’ cargoes, even its share in the nowadays cargo turnover of the port amounts to only 4–5%, either 50–70 thousand tons a year.
