The international issues in the field of counteraction to the drug business will be discussed in the region at the beginning of September.

The international science and practical conference “Drug addiction and counteraction to the drug crime in the Asia Pacific region” will take place in Vladivostok on September, 9-10, informed in the press-service of the regional organization.
Among the organizers of the conference are the administration of Primorye Territory, federal service of Russian Federation on the control of the drugs turnover and the Far eastern State University. This large-scale event has already drawn attention of the representatives of science, statesmen, the heads of medical and law enforcement organizations and public associations working in the field of counteraction to the drug addiction.
Over 60 applications for participation in the forum were received by the organization committee. The representatives of Russia and foreign countriesáàøêûå ùà all, the countries of Asia Pacific region are among the participants of the forum. The conference will give the scientists, representatives of the authorities and law enforcement structures an opportunity to exchange the mutually useful information, to consider the criminal and juridical issues of the counteraction to the drug crime and precautions of the drug addiction in the countries of the region. Another aim of the conference is the improvement of the international cooperation in the decision of these problems.
