A major logistics complex will be constructed at the settlement of Novy, located near the TransSiberian railway and in proximity to the ports of Vladivostok, Nakhodka and Vostochny, in order to ensure the regularity of sea and railway transport.
The cargo container terminal and logistics center in the port of Vostochny will bring about the development of the region’s railway and vehicle transport systems.
The marine cargo handling complex ‘Troitsa’ to be constructed at the settlement of Zarubino, Khasansky County is aimed to assist the implementation of the international transport route Primorye-2.
The project of building new wharfs in the container terminal at the port of Vostochny near the city of Nakhodka is planned to strengthen the port’s potential as a large transit center and increase exports and imports.
Finally, the plans for developing the region’s transport sector include increasing the capacity of Vladivostok’s Marine Commercial Port in terms of large container transshipment.
