The governor of Primorye Territory Sergey Darkin met general consul of USA in Vladivostok mister Thomas Armbruster who has received the official admission of his authorities from Russian MFA in august.

Sergey Darkin greeted Mr. Armbruster in Primorye’s land and congratulated him with the beginning of activity on important for both countries post.
The governor has noted that Administration of Primorye Territory is interested in overall development of commercial and economic co-operation with USA on the mutually beneficial basis. Participation of potential American investors in projects of preparations to the APEC summit of 2012 opens new possibilities for cooperation.
Mr. Armbruster has shown interest in participation of potential investors in our projects. During the meeting both sides discussed the possibility of American capital participation in realization of big infrastructural projects of Primorye Territory.
Sergey Darkin marked the importance of consul’s interest in the participation of potential American investors in our projects so far as the diplomatic assistance of the corresponding level will attract foreign partners more effective.
