For the three months – from January to march – 330 million roubles were allocated from the federal budget for the housing subsidies.

Only in March more than 90 thousand families (or 12 percent) of primorye have used the state support in the payment of the communal services for the total sum of 106 million roubles.

Approximately 1 billion and 800 thousand roubles will be allocated for these purposes in 2008.

This measure of social support will help to cut the burden of the housing and communal tariffs for the citizens of Primorye, informed in the department of the social welfare of Primorye Territory.

According to the department most of the subsidies are paid in Arsenyev, Bolshoi Kamen and Spassk-Dalniy. About 5% of families in Vladivostok receive the subsidy.

There are more than 230 offices of citizens’ reception on social issues in Primorye, where it's easy to arrange subsidies. Every resident of the Primorye region, whose share of the communal services payment in the family budget exceeds 22 per cent, may make a grant.
