More than 500 Russian specialists of the fishing industry are among them, the rest are the representatives of foreign fishing companies, as well as scientists with world name.

Tthe representatives of delegations from all of the Far East will be invited to the congress, as well as Kaliningrad, Kemerovo, the Murmansk region, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Ryazan. In the list of honored guests are representatives of the State Duma of Russia, the Federation Council, the State Committee of Fisheries and the All-Russian Association of Fishworkers.

International format of the congress is confirmed by the geography potential of the participants.
Among them are delegations of Spain, Denmark, Greenland, Germany, Iceland, China, USA, Canada, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Great Britain, Vietnam and Ukraine.

The regional capital becomes the meeting place of Russian and foreign fishermen for the fifth consecutive year. The most acute issues of fisheries development complex are traditionally discussed here. This time the representatives of the fishing business, government, public and science intend to touch on all the aspects of establishing mutually beneficial conditions for a civilized and transparent trade of fish products, identify new ways of interaction.

The central theme of the congress is "The development of international cooperation in the effective use of raw fish." In light of this set and topics of discussions at round tables - "International experience of organized trade in fish and seafood" and "Building logistics flows of fish trade in the face of all catches in the customs territory of Russia."

The part of the Fifth International Congress will be a specialized exhibition "Pacific Future Fishery-2008." Among the sections of the exhibition are the production technology and processing, fishing vessels (construction and modernization), fishing equipment, gear, navigation systems and communications, ship power systems and means to combat poaching, Fish processing, packaging, the use of bio-medicine and several other positions.
