The implementation of agreements on improving the reliability of electricity was discussed at a meeting with Governor Sergei Darkin.

The agreement between the administration of Primorsky Krai and RAO UES of Russia was signed in December 2007 and provided new construction and upgrading of existing power generation capacity and electric grid facilities management. The meeting was attended by Ivan BLAGODYR, general director of OAO "RAO Energy Systems of the East”, which is the legal successor on the agreement implementation.

This year energy specialists allocated for the implementation of the agreement 1.85 billion, informed Ivan Blagodyr. More than a half billion has been used for the intended purpose – the power equipment on the substations “Vtoraya Rechka" (Second Stream),"Burun" and "Golubinka” was replaced, dozens of kilometers of electricity have also been replaced, the upgrading of the Partizansk State District Power Plant has started, the design of the Ussuri CHP is being conducted. Construction of the Ussuri CHP will begin in March next year.

A constructive cooperation was established between the administration of Primorye Territory and energy sector, noted by Sergey Darkin. "It is important that the investment program of energy companies working in Primorye take into account the needs of the province and those projects that we implement," stressed the governor.
