The governor of the region Sergey Darkin held a meeting on energy problems.

The implementation of the agreements on enhance of the electricity supply reliability for the consumers of Primorye was discussed at the meeting lead by the governor Sergei Darkin. The agreement was signed in December 2007 between the administration of Primorye Territory and RAO UES of Russia and envisages the construction of new and modernization of existing generating capacities and objects of electric facilities management.

The director general of the JSC “RAO Energy systems of the East” who is the successor in the agreement implementation, the director of the Primorye trunk electrical networks Sergey Ivanov, director general of JSC FEEC (Far Eastern Energy Company) Victor Myasnik, the director of the JSC “FEGC” (Far Eastern Generating Company) branch “Primorye Generation” Igor Frantsev, the representatives of the regional administration and the heads of a number of cities and regions of Primorye.

For the realization of the agreement the sides agreed on the list of facilities construction and modernization of which will help to increase the quality and reliability of the energy supply of Primorye including the objects of the APEC Summit 2012þ øò the first place power specialists of Primorye will have to undertake reconstruction of the Partizansk SRPS (State regional power station), Artyom thermoelectric plant, Vladivostok TEP1 and TEP2. Also the projecting of the new electric plant Ussury TEP has started.

The energy specialists have started the modernization and construction of the objects of electric facilities management. The first phase of the Zaliv substation was put into operation last month and the construction of the 35kV high-voltage lines “Golubinks-C” is continuing.

The governor of the region Sergei Darkin has noted that it was necessary to accelerate the modernization of the energy complex of Primorye. “This is a state task on the realization of which depends the complex development of Primorye, the quality and the comfort of living,” – said Sergei Darkin.
