Creation of a national park “Call of the Tiger” will become a present for participants of the second international ecological forum “Nature without borders”. The order about it was signed by chairman of the government of Russia Michael Fradkov. Exactly one year ago, on the first international forum "Nature without borders" the governor of Primorye Region Sergey Darkin and scientists-participants of the forum have initiated the creation of two national parks the “Call of the Tiger” and the “Udegei valley”. Scientists of Primorye have done significant work as a result of which territory of Primorye has gained a special nature protection status. The future park will take the area of 82 152 hectares. The territory of planned national park includes a water-separate part of Sikhote Alin ridge, and also upper parts of the rivers Ussury, Milogradovka and Kievka and differs by the variety of landscapes. By scientists’ estimations this territory plays an exclusive role in protection of the Amur tiger. The national park is characterized by well kept woods, rare and being under threat of disappearance vegetative communities and plants, unique representatives of fauna of far eastern southern taiga. The natural complexes concentrated here have no analogues on any extra protected natural territories of south of the Far East.
