The first group of children from the Sichuan province of China arrived yesterday to the airport of Vladivostok.

Sergei Darkin said that all conditions for recreation and health correction were created in Primorye, the press service of regional administration informs. The psychologists and interpreters were invited to work with them, so as the cooks from China to cook national dishes.

An extensive program is created for children: cultural, sports, educational activities, excursions through the regional center, language classes. Each participant will be able to find an occupation in the circles, creative workshops and studios.

Also the meeting of the Governor of the region Sergei Darkin with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China in Russia Liu Guchang took place in the airport.

As pointed out by Mr. Liu Guchang: "The Chinese people greatly appreciate the friendship with Russia and assistance in difficult moment. Our countries are friends forever “

According to Sergei Darkin, Russia could not stand aside from the disaster that struck China. "I hope that the stay in the "Ocean" will help Chinese children to alleviate their suffering after the tragedy," - said the governor.

During the meeting the governor and Mr. Ambassador touched upon the issues of further development of relations between Primorye and the Chinese border provinces.
