Sakhalin Region
Gazprom believes that it will start production at the Kirinsky block in 2014, and that the Sakhalin-3 project will be yielding 28.4bn cubic meters of gas by 2020, said Vasily Podyuk today, a member of the gas giant's Management Committee.
According to Alexander Medvedev, the Chairman of Gazprom's Management Committee, the holding is not planning to engage any partners in the development of the Kirinsky block. As is the case with the Shtokman field, non-residents will be involved if necessary, but no definite decisions have been made so far. Gazprom has sufficient resources and technology to operate the project on its own, Medvedev said.
