The fishermen of Primorye are showing good results of the quotas development. The catch of water bioresources by the primorye fishery enterprises makes 556,6 thousand tons from the beginning of the year.

The catch of pollock has increased by 40 thousands ton, saury by 10 thousands ton. The catch of herring makes 30,5 thousands tons, squid – 30 thousands tons.
The favourable fishery situation and the increase of the pollock quotas in the western district of the Sea of Beringov promote the successful catch, specialists inform.
400 thousands tons of products are manufactured on the Territory of the region. This includes all types of herring, filleted fish, caviar and also canned fish and semi-preserves.
146 vessels work at sea.
