According to the press service of Primorye Territory administration the Fourth International Exhibition of Forestry of cities of China and the Far East of Russia will take place from 27 to 31 of August in the city Suifenhe. The organizers of the event are the management of forestry PRC, the People's Government of Heilongjiang province and the Administration of Primorye Territory. Among the exhibitors are the manufacturers of South Korea, Japan, Germany, the USA and Canada.

It is anticipated that during the exhibition the enterprises of Primorye region will be able to find partners for the sale of finished products manufactured on the territory of the region, as well as to attract Chinese investors in the Timber development on the region. The producers will also become familiar with new technologies and equipment.

The governor of Primorye Territory Sergey DARKIN puts a task for the producers to evade the export of round logs and produce products with high value-added - timber, joinery products, ready products. According to forest management of Primorye Territory the process of rising of refining capacity and production upgrade is going in Ptimorye. New productions open on the basis of existing which are equipped with new equipment, new technologies are introduced. This reduces the volume of stocked timber and the sizes of cut down areas with increasing volumes of deep processing of timber and production of marketable products.

The realization of several investment projects has started on the territory of the region. In particular, the development of sawmill and plywood production in the north of the region.
