China welcomes the second inter-Korean summit and the achieved positive results, declared the representative of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Liu Zianchao.
Commenting the second meeting of the DPRK and RK, Liu Zianchao noted that China invariably stands for the improvement of relationships between DPRK and Republic of Korea by the conduction of the dialogue to achieve the reconciliation and cooperation.
The president of Republic of Korea No Mu Hen arrived to Pyongyang with a 3 day visit to the DPRK. A meeting with the Supreme leader of the DPRK Kim Jong Il. On the 4th of October both sides have declared the joint declaration of peace and prosperity.
The first meeting of leaders of two countries took place in Pyongyang in June, 2002.
