An international educational week will pass in different countries of the world on October, 13-16.

This action is conducted by the Consulate general of USA in Vladivostok jointly with the partners of other diplomatic representatives, non-commerce organizations and universities. The goal of the action is the demonstration of the possibilities of different countries’ cooperation in the perfection of the educational system, academic exchanges and the development of partnerships in the field of international education.
The consul general of USA will visit the Admiral Nevelskoi Marine State University on the 14th of November to take part in the video bridge between MSU, University of South Carolina (USA) and University of San Ignacio de Loyola (Lima, Peru). The students and lecturers will discuss the family values and traditions in different cultures. The council general was particularly satisfied that the video bridge is not a once-only action but a permanent course in the study plan of the universities participants.
Another major event within the limits of the educational week is an international conference that will take place in the Far Eastern state university. The conference is of a particular interest for students, schoolchildren and their parents. The representatives of the largest diplomatic missions will tell about the possibilities of the education in their countries, the heads of the international educational organizations will inform about the programs of exchanges and probations, and the graduation students will share their experience.
The conduction of the international educational week was initiated by the State department of the USA 8 years ago and was supported by the diplomatic and academic associations of different countries. The theme of the week is “International educations: the development of global connections and mutual respect”. This motto is called to stress the importance of the schoolchildren’ and students’ perception of the contemporary world as the common and interdependent association the problems of which can be solved only by the joint cooperation with the respect and understanding of the uniqueness of every country and each human.
