An International Film Festival of Asia Pacific countries “Pacific Meridian” which takes place in Vladivostok will become an outstanding event for all residents of the region and will have repercussions in Russia and international society.

The participants of the organization committee are convinced in that. The initiative of the festival conducting belongs to the governor Sergey Darkin who is its honorable president.
The festival will be held for the 5th time from 15th till 21st of September. Besides the official events the program of the festival includes a lot of unofficial ones.
The main task for the organizers is the appropriate conduction of the event and presenting each resident of Primorye a real holiday without creating difficulties for the everyday life of the regional center.
Cinematographists from 36 countries will take part in the International Film Festival “Pacific meridian”. Spectator will see 160 new movies, a record amount for the whole history of the festival.
