All local elements of transport segment will be merged.

According to the press service of Primorye Territory Administration, the concept of establishing a regional transport and logistics system based on major transport hubs of south of Primorye was made on the agenda of the meeting of the Council Presidium on maritime activities with the Governor of Primorye Territory.



The meeting brought together the representatives of Primorye Territory Administration, OAO “DNIIMF”, “VMTP”, the administration of Vladivostok seaport, Primorye Association of fishery enterprise. The head of the industry and transport department of Primorye Territory Igor Hruschev presided over the meeting.



During the meeting it was noted that transport and logistics system of southern Primorye focused primarily on container traffic. Specialists of OAO "DNIIMF" prepared a preliminary concept and the rationale for the first stage of the project of the unification of all elements of this segment of the local transport industry into a single regional project aimed at accelerating the integration of Russia into the transport system of APR. It is envisaged that it will include terminals, transport corridors, ports and port nodes of the region. The basis for the project will become the Nahodkinskiy, Vostochniy, Vladivostok (with South seaside terminal) and Hasanskiy transport hubs.



Discussing the prospects for construction of the complex "Southern seaside terminal" in the area of the Noviy village of the Nadezhdinskiy area, experts noted that it is important as the accumulating and warehouse-distribution center for the entire south of the region and it will be able to serve as a port terminal of Vladivostok sea commercial port and stevedoring companies.



The project has already received official support of the President of OAO Russian Railways Vladimir YAKUNIN during the last year meeting with the Governor of the region Sergei DARKIN.



By the results of the meeting the concept of the transport and logistics system was approved as the basis for the forming of the transport infrastructure of the region and for the development of the transport and logistics cluster in accordance to the Strategy of socio-economic development of the Primorye Territory.
