State Duma has passed a law determining the self-depending levels of higher education – Bachelor and Master degrees.

The self-dependant levels of higher education with the separate educational standards with the conferment of the qualification of Bachelor and Master or Specialist degree are determined by the law.
The terms of the Bachelor education is 4 years, the magistrates – 2 years, specialist is not less than 5 years. Foe some fields for example medical the terms may differ.
The access to the post-graduate study is only for those who have the qualification of Master or Specialist.
