The scientists of FEBRAS Ilyichev Pacific oceanological institute and their foreign colleagues from Technology institute (Kitami, Japan) and the Institute of arctic research (Seoul, South Korea) has started the hydrophysical research in the Okhotsk Sea.

The oceanologists set an object to study the mechanism of forming and destruction of gas-hyadrates in the Okhotsk Sea as the common nature system within the limits of which many processes acquired extreme nature and influence heavily on forming of geological and climate features. The expedition is a continuation of the long-term comlex research within the limits of the CNAOS international program.
