The governor of Primorye Territory Sergei Darkin has signed the resolution on the creation of the council.

The governor has signed decree on the establishment of the Council for the development of the small and medium enterprise in Primorye and he had also approved the membership of the council and the regulations of its work.
The council is created to ensure the cooperation of the state authority bodies and the business community of the region in the area of small and medium-sized business development.

The issues of the development and consolidation of business for decision of socio-economic problems of Primorye Territory will be discussed at the sessions of the council. The council has a right to conduct a public expertise of the projects of regional normative acts, regulating the development of the small and medium business; to place proposals on the programs of the entrepreneurship development to the administration of the region. The members of the council will have to examine and analyze the problems of small business, jointly find the ways of their effective development. Another important feature of the Council on the development of small and medium business is the interaction with the coordinating council on the science, technical and innovation policy by the governor of the region.

According to the specialists of the department of economic development of Primorye Territory a new structure will allow to set the constructive dialogue between the authorities and business, will help in the decision of issues of the entrepreneurship set by the president of RF Dmitry Medvedev. At the meeting in Moscow Techno-park “Strogino” Dmitry Medvedev said: “The development of the middle class in the country is the development of the small business. And judging by the temps we can actually say that by 2020 this class will make 60-70 per cents”.

The share of the small business in Primorye is about 20 per cents which are above average index of the country. This indicates a stable economic situation in the region where all conditions for the successful realization of the business initiative and the boldest business-projects exists.
