A cash promotion is paid in Primorye for every newborn child Municipal program of the mothers and children support is successfully working in the Pogranichniy area.

The local authorities of the Pogranichniy area have found an opportunity to substantively promote families where children are born, the press service of Primorye Territory Administration informs.
As reported in the municipality administration, for each child parents are paid 2 000 rubles and if the twins are born the sum rises to 5 000 rubles. Nearly 90 families received such payment from the local budget this year.
According to experts, municipal program was a good addition to the regional and federal programs supporting mothers and children and an incentive for increasing birth rate.
For the second year in Primorye women receive certificates of maternal capital. More than 5 000 families have become holders of the document giving the governmental support in the region. Most of the certificates received the residents of Nakhodka, Vladivostok, Spasskiy and Dalnerechenskiy areas.
The amount of this year’s maternal capital is 271 thousand 250 rubles. The family has the right to use those funds for the education of children or improvement of housing conditions. In addition, money may be added to the pension mother’s pension.
Also, each mom gets lump sum of 10 416 rubles for a child. Unemployed women babysitting children under 1,5 years old from the second half of 2008 will receive 1658 rubles for the first child and 3317 rubles For the second and next children.
According to the Department of Social Security of the regional population about 59 thousand families receive various support measures for children. More than 400 million rubles were received from the federal budget for this purpose. Additional 131.6 million rubles were sent from the budget of the region. The money went to monthly allowances for children from poor families.
